The Palestinian Ambassador to Sweden,
Ms Rula Almhaissen, was in Umeå today.
During the day, she met students, researchers,
teachers, politicians and entrepreneurs.
There were many interesting meetings,
conversations and discussions about Palestine
and peace in the Middle East.
For 35 years, SWEDO has worked in the Middle East
in collaboration with the UN, building
refugee camps and providing protection
for vulnerable people in need.
Therefore, it is important to achieve
peace in Palestine and give all people
in the region an opportunity to live
and develop in a peaceful context.
