SWEDO’s annual year meeting elected today a new board of directors for the organization. Carina Eriksson was re-elected as President for SWEDO and two new board of directors was elected and we welcome EllaCarin Blind and Jean Marie Skoglund to SWEDO.
500,000 Medical face masks has been donated by SWEDO through a private donation to Palestine. The masks has been handed over to the Palestinian Ministry of Health . The Face masks are distributed to the Palestinian health service in the West Bank to hospitals and health centers in citys, villages and refugee camps.

SWEDO board of directors are glad to Welcome Ms Iqbal Hamad as new Head of mission in our organisation. Ms Iqbal previously worked for the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human development and she has a broad experience and network with in the international NGO world.

SWEDO in partnership with JOHUD are running the young voice initiative in Jordan funded by Swedish Institute. Our Goal is to train youth on the usage of infographics and research in human rights, democracy and advocacy actions. Together towards stronger generation and resilient community.

On the 24 of November SWEDO 30 Year Anniversary was held in Stockholm with guests from Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, UNHCR, SIDA, Forum CIV, the Kurdish representation in Stockholm, the Iraqi embassy, the Palestinian embassy and many others participated.
